When exposure has become a very important factor, the colour of mesh has earned an important factor as well. When light passes through positives on to the emulsion it passes through a mesh with white fabric the light rays are refracted in different directions to create a rough image. Saw toothing is seen everywhere but coloured mesh absorbs light rays thus reducing the refraction gives you a very sharp & clear image on the stencil.
